Technology & Automation

Digital platforms, automation and custom solutions that transform the way organizations operate.

What belongs here

Technology & Automation covers the design, development and integration work required when an organization needs systems to support a specific operating model.

The work begins with records, roles, decisions, exceptions and interfaces. Technology is then selected, connected or built around that structure.

Areas of work

Design technology around the operation — not the operation around the software.

Custom software

  • Internal applications
  • Client and workforce portals
  • Operational platforms
  • Administrative systems
  • Purpose-built interfaces
  • Workflow-specific tools

Integration

  • API integrations
  • Data synchronization
  • Identity and access integration
  • Payment and billing connections
  • Document and records exchange
  • Integration with existing enterprise systems

Process automation

  • Repetitive workflow automation
  • Notifications and routing
  • Approval processes
  • Document generation
  • Data validation
  • Operational triggers
  • Exception handling

Platform and architecture work

  • Technical discovery
  • System architecture
  • Data modelling
  • Modernization
  • Migration
  • Infrastructure planning
  • Security and access design

Technical advisory

  • Technology roadmaps
  • Build-versus-buy analysis
  • Product and vendor assessment
  • Operational technology planning
  • Implementation oversight
Where this family ends

Looking for an existing platform rather than a custom build?

Oridian’s own software is designed for repeatable adoption and is presented separately.

Quality, control and evidence

Technical assurance from requirement to release.

Each engagement defines its acceptance criteria, responsible roles, proportionate review and required evidence before delivery begins. Confirmed errors within Oridian's original scope are corrected without additional charge, with correction targets determined by impact and engagement conditions.

Technology work is controlled through documented requirements, version management, proportionate review and testing, authorized release and post-delivery defect handling. Additional security and assurance controls are defined according to the system's risk and intended use.

What is not assumed to be included
Support, maintenance, monitoring, hosting and service levels are defined separately in the engagement and are not assumed to be included automatically.

Technology in the engagement

Technology supports the engagement. It does not replace the service definition.

Which systems the work runs on is decided as part of the engagement. Using Oridian's own infrastructure to deliver a service is not the same as the client adopting a product.

  • Client-owned systems

Oridian can deliver work within the systems a client already uses when those systems can support the agreed operating model, access requirements and delivery controls.

  • Oridian operational infrastructure

Oridian may use its own internal platforms to coordinate, control and evidence service delivery without turning the engagement into a software purchase by the client.

  • Oridian products

An organization may separately adopt an Oridian product when a repeatable platform fits its own operating requirement; product licensing and full platform information belong in Products.

  • Purpose-built technology

Oridian may design or develop technology for a specific requirement when existing systems and available products do not adequately support the required operation.

Describe the work, its context and the responsibility you need Oridian to carry. We will evaluate the appropriate scope, capabilities and delivery structure before an engagement is accepted.
